七、报告人简介

       Guoqing Zhang, PEng, is a Professor in the Faculty of Engineering, University of Windsor, and the director of Supply Chain and Logistics Optimization Research center.  His recent research interests include optimization in supply chain management, logistics, algorithms design and development, and portfolio optimization. He has published over 40 articles on those areas in journals such as Operations Research, Computational Optimization and Applications, IIE Transactions, European Journal of Operational Research, Computers and Operations Research, and Omega.

       Dr. Zhang is an editorial board member of Journal of Remanufacturing, International Journal of Applied Logistics, and 中国管理科学, associate editor of INFOR. He served on International Activity Committee of INFORMS from 2012 to 2014. He has served as a consultant to several world leading companies on Automotive, Energy, and Foods industries. Dr. Zhang and his team recently won the first place in the Canadian Operations Research Society’s (CORS) Practice Prize competition for their project “Modelling of the Air Cargo Network Flow Optimization”.
